Size Measuring Guide
A perfect fit for your ultra-marathon running shoes is important for comfort and performance. Follow these tips to measure your foot size at home:
General Tips:
- Measure your feet at the end of the day as they're at their largest due to swelling.
- In between sizes? One foot is bigger than the other? Take the larger size.
- It's best to measure every year. Your size could change over time.
What You'll Need:
- A piece of paper larger than your foot,
- A pen or pencil,
- A ruler or measuring tape,
- Socks of the thickness you'll wear with the shoes.
Steps:
- Stand on the paper in the socks you'll wear with the shoes.
- Use the pen or pencil to mark the end of your longest toe and the back of your heel. It's important to measure both feet as their size can vary.
- Match your measurements to our size chart to find the best fit. If you're between sizes, we suggest choosing the larger size for better comfort.

Dual Lacing, Refined
Experience enhanced comfort and control with our signature TUNEDFIT™ Dual Lacing System. Now with two cinch cords per shoe, you can adjust the fit around the forefoot and midfoot independently in seconds. With the adjustable fit, it lets your toes splay, flex, and power through the longest runs in the toughest terrain.
Dries Fast, Built to Last
Crafted from a high-performance woven fabric and reinforced with aramid fibers that are five times stronger than steel, the T1’s upper is relentlessly durable. Its anti-siphon knit tongue repels water, ensuring a breathable, fast-drying design that thrives in the harshest conditions.
Midsole Mastery
LightCELL™, our proprietary midsole, is turbocharged through supercritical foaming. LightCELL™ weighs just 50 percent of EVA while offering 45 percent greater energy return – it’s battle-tested by hundreds of ultrarunners for consistent responsiveness, mile after mile.
Vibram®’s Finest
The T1’s outsole features a trio of Vibram® innovations: Megagrip rubber for tenacious traction in any condition, Litebase for 30 percent less weight without compromising performance, and Traction Lug micro-features for up to 25 percent more grip.

I purchased these shoes so I could have a sharp looking shoe I could wear on the trail. After researching all the top brands that make trail shoes, I was determined to find the perfect balance of durability and style. The Mount to Coast T1 checked every box.
From the moment I laced them up I felt ready for the adventure ahead.. weather it’s a rugged trail, weekend hikes, or spontaneous outdoor escapes. These shoes aren’t just built to last; they’re designed to keep you moving confidently and looking great while doing it.
I’m confident that the Mount to Coast T1 will satisfy my durability and stylish needs, and I can’t wait to see where they take me next. Here’s to many miles of exciting journeys!
Up here in the Mountains of Colorado I’ve been looking for a shoe that could work good for connecting roads to the local trails. I’ve always used a trail shoe and although it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t great. This shoe is the best of both and actually works really good on technical trail also. Perfect balance of weight, grip and comfort.
I’ve been wearing the T1 almost daily for the past three weeks, using it both for running and everyday commuting across different parts of the UK. Overall, it’s been a very impressive and versatile shoe.
Overall Impression
• The first thing you notice is how incredibly light it feels on foot, making it easy to settle into a smooth, efficient rhythm
• Despite being positioned as a Pro-level trail shoe, it performs extremely well on pavement, with a stable and responsive ride that doesn’t feel out of place compared to many road trainers
• Traction is excellent and consistently reliable, which adds a lot of confidence across varied urban surfaces
Comfort & Support
• The tongue is a standout feature: very soft, comfortable against the foot, and easy to adjust for a secure fit without pressure points
• The fit runs slightly wider, especially in the forefoot, allowing natural toe splay and making it comfortable for longer runs or all-day wear
• Support is well balanced and remains consistent even later into runs, without feeling overly rigid
Ride & Design
• Although the listed drop is 4 mm, the shoe has a surprisingly strong rolling sensation, with smooth transitions and a noticeable forward-moving feel
• The design is clean and modern; even as a Pro-level trail model, it looks great casually and works well as an everyday or commuting shoe
Things to Monitor
• Around the 100-mile mark, some wear begins to appear on the upper. It hasn’t affected performance so far, but it’s something worth keeping an eye on over longer mileage
• The heel area feels slightly firm initially, though it becomes less noticeable with continued use
• The dual-layer lacing system takes a bit of getting used to; while functional, its advantage over a traditional setup isn’t immediately obvious
Just got these this week. 14 miles with 3000 feet of elevation gain in my new T1s. They are perfect! The ankle collar is much more comfortable than the speedgoats--set slightly lower so it doesn't rub that ankle knobby thingy. I find that these run more true to size whereas the speed goats i needed were always one full size bigger than my dress shoes. I wore a 12 in the speed goats, and the 11.5 is perfect in the T1s.
Not only do these shoes look fantastic, they are shockingly comfortable and supportive. I struggle as I get older with my feet widening or ‘dropping’. These shoes allow me to be comfortable throughout the show with the lacing system. I will buy more M2C shoes.
