In the spring of 2024, Asian ultrarunner Lucong Geng traveled to Scotland to run the JOGLE, a multistage road ultra to the most southerly tip of England. Covering 854 miles (1,374 km) over 17 daily stages, Lucong broke the Asian record for the route, covering more than 600 miles of the journey in a single pair of Mount to Coast S1s.

Surprisingly Comfortable

I am astounded how comfortable these shoes are. I ran 5k, and felt like I could go longer. As my kilometers increase, I am curious to see how they feel. So far, I am impressed.

Game Changer

Purchased the S1 after falling in love with the R1 for my 35 mile road run. The S1 is snappy, and allows for longer miles at a quicker pace. They have a more snug fit in the toe box, but no suffocating. I love the ability to cruise and click off long miles, but also be able to kick it and run 6:30 miles as well. This is the best all around every day shoe I have ever owned. Purchased my wife a pair as well. I am not sponsored but am team MTC.

Great shoes so far!

I bought these to get back into running after taking a long (~1-2 years) break due to knee problems. Running on any other shoes gave me crippling pain in my knees, but so far I have been on two runs (including downhill stretches) and have had no pain. Excited to build up to some distance again!

Comfortable all round running and casual shoe

I bought these shoes to run in but I get so many complements when I use them for daily use that I'm thinking of getting another pair! I did an 8K and my legs did not feel fatigued at all as it had the perfect amount of bounciness. The build quality is great and I would say it's definitely worth the price. It fits snug on the toe box area, but I like it like that.
