I can't believe how comfortable the R1 truly is. Since the R1 is an ultra shoe, I bought it specifically for my recent endurance challenge. I ran a fasted 5x5: five marathons in five days while fasting. I used the R1 exclusively for this challenge and I could not believe how comfortable it was, even after the fifth marathon. Well done. really loving these, I purchased my first pair, and instantly fell in love with them. I never thought I would find a better shoe than my trusty hokas. These have replaced hokas for me, and currently PR all my training runs on a weekly basis. I also bought a pair for my wife, and my father, who are marathoners as well, and have soley used hokas for the past few years, they too love them as much as I do. They are just really comfortable, and they like to go fast! Need more colors! :)
