These shoes are incredible. Out of the box they feel so easy to run and super light weight. I absolutely love these shoes.
I purchased the S1 for myself and the R1 for my husband. They are everything we hoped for in a running shoe. Support, weight, width and they even look good. No breaking in period required, legs felt great. Shoes are true to size.
I have been a Brooks Ghost runner for over 8 years. Every time I've tried to switch, it was a disaster for me. I would suffer injuries that I never had before. The Ghost seemed to be my only option because it was the only shoe that prevented knee and hip issues, while not being super cushioned. Brooks changed the design with the Ghost 16 and they were so terrible I could not even take a walk in them without aches after. I sought the advice of my local running store and the S1 was suggested for me based on previous wear and nagging injuries. I was skeptical, but I am SO happy I made the switch! I have run in these 6 times now and I have no pain afterward. Even the little nagging injuries that seemed to never go away seem to be gone. These shoes are so comfortable I never want to take them off!
I've been looking for a pair of running shoes for my flat feet and I finally found them!! These shoes give me great support and stability, I feel like I could be running for hours without feeling any bother in my feet. These shoes are also very lightweight and true size. I'm a 7 1/2 and I usually buy 8 1/2 but for these shoes I bought an 8 and they feel very comfortable and spacious for my feet.
These shoes are really comfortable and supportive without having a bulky sole which I love. It's like running on a cloud. Definitely great for a lon/easy run for a steady and consistent pace.
I was very skeptical about buying shoes online without trying them on first, but after doing some research, I went for it and am so happy that I did! I’m 50+ and just getting back into running, so I thought the excruciating and almost constant knee and ankle pain was just my body fighting me. I’ve only used these for a few days and the pain is almost gone. Shoes are the only change. Measure your feet and go for it.
Threshold workout today with my brand new R1’s…it was like running on air!! 👍. Great shoes. Went up 1/2 size and the toe box fit was perfect.
I am astounded how comfortable these shoes are. I ran 5k, and felt like I could go longer. As my kilometers increase, I am curious to see how they feel. So far, I am impressed.
Purchased the S1 after falling in love with the R1 for my 35 mile road run. The S1 is snappy, and allows for longer miles at a quicker pace. They have a more snug fit in the toe box, but no suffocating. I love the ability to cruise and click off long miles, but also be able to kick it and run 6:30 miles as well. This is the best all around every day shoe I have ever owned. Purchased my wife a pair as well. I am not sponsored but am team MTC.
I’ve just got them few weeks ago and started running on it. I love them a lot. I am NOT a marathoner or a super-duper-ultra marathoner. I am a climber who likes to stay in shape, keep my legs strong, and practice breathing as I run which enabled me to breathe better as I climb big boulders.
I usually put in 3 to 4 miles slow run and the R1 felt great, it has the cushion and the bounce. They’re very light. Roomy enough for my poor toes, you know how climbing shoes are. Oo the R1 have good grips. I love the adjustable tie-downs. Everytime I land, cushioning is all there and everytime, I lift, the bounce push me up. Exactly how the running shoes supposed to be.
I wish there were shoes like these during my 20s. That’s the 1990s. No such thing. I could’ve run much better with far less pain. Thanks to R&D of every running shoes makers. I am glad to have this R1 to my rotations of different running shoes.

Gave the R1s a try and so glad I did! The dual lacing system works perfect for my feet. They are a joy to run in mile after mile. Wearing them for a half marathon this Sunday, and for my first 50k in February.
The R1 Twilight is very comfortable right out of the box! The two part adjustment is perfect. It makes the shoes snug without being tight. The cushioning worked great on the 10mi treadmill run with 18% incline. No problems with 10k elevation gain! I can't wait to test them at Across The Years 6 Day in a couple of weeks!
Wore these for the first time at my first Hyrox race. Was skeptical at first for not having trained in these. I had just received them Thursday and headed out Friday. I decided to wear them during travel. They felt amazing and my gut said wear them for the race. I’m glad I did. My feet were the only things that felt great the entire race. Definitely held up better than I did.
I run very long distances with a 200-miler coming up and am so glad to have these. Super light and comfortable.
Super happy to finally have found a new road shoe after two years of searching. Amazing. Wore these for an Ultramarathon and put some great miles in comfort for six hours in them.
I bought these to get back into running after taking a long (~1-2 years) break due to knee problems. Running on any other shoes gave me crippling pain in my knees, but so far I have been on two runs (including downhill stretches) and have had no pain. Excited to build up to some distance again!
So stoked on these R1’s. They’re stable, comfortable, fast and enable endurance. Coming from brooks and hokas and I don’t think I’ll be going back to anything else any time soon. Would give these 10 stars if I could!

Love my R1Rs! Felt great right out of the box for a 7.5 mile run and looking forward to getting my first pair of P1s soon.
After much consideration, I took the leap and bought my first mount to coast R1 and I'm in LOVE!! As a barefoot runner (running with barefoot shoes) I wanted something that can give me the same space and connection to the earth but with more support and R1 is just that!! It delivered from the first try. I didn't know such level of comfort can even exist and the impact of that on how I run, how much more ease I feel it's incredible. This shoe is PERFECT!!

I’m not a marathon runner but recreational running is what I do. I will say first shoes that I have never been sore, feet tingling or shin splints when I have down time between running. Literally changed my life and make running enjoyable. No regrets!
