Adventure and athleticism take many forms. In January 2025, ultrarunner and race director Jamil Coury toed the line for a chance to win a year's supply of free burritos. The challenge: run as many miles as possible outside an Arizona restaurant. What followed was an absurd commitment to athleticism and competition that saw him run more than 730 miles. And his shoe of choice for over 600 of those miles? A single pair of the new Mount to Coast H1s.

Created through a process of advanced supercritical foaming, each pair of CircleCELL™ midsoles is made from up to 20 pounds (9 kilograms) of organic waste and residual biomass. Across the top portion, the shoe is engineered with jacquard for adaptive fit and comfort, while the lower part is crafted for exceptional durability with a high-performance woven fabric, reinforced with aramid fibers that are five times stronger than steel.

Inspired by the landscapes we love

We built the H1 to be as adaptable and tenacious as you are, holding steady across shifting sands, transcending distance one step at a time. The White Sands colorway takes inspiration from New Mexico and the wind-sculpted, physically draining terrain of its National Park. Joshua Tree takes inspiration from the Californian landscape, where cacti conform to the influence of heat and time, and the ground shifts with every stride.
